Choose the question before you choose the panel. An unavailable family means access, data, or result is unavailable—not that customers show zero behavior.

- One insight family and a briefing you can validate with evidence
The Insights tab loads four independently gated families. A project can have one family without another, so an unavailable panel is a plan/access condition or unavailable result—not evidence that the underlying customer behavior is zero.
Choose the right family
| Family | Use it for | Examples |
|---|---|---|
| Audience | Who and how visitors arrive and interact. | Device mix, referrers, visitor languages, paths, lead capture. |
| Conversation | What whole conversations are about and how they ended. | Sentiment, topics, primary intents, buying intent, resolution quality. |
| Knowledge | Whether source material and answer coverage deserve review. | Cited-source usage, freshness, answer quality, gap reasons, FAQ and content candidates. |
| Business | Customer demand and owner action queues. | Budget/timeline signals, objections, recurring alternatives, follow-up, handoff, complaint, and bug actions. |
Generate and use a briefing
Match the scopeUse the same period and agent scope as the panels you inspected.
This keeps the briefing tied to comparable evidence.Generate or refresh the briefingOpen AI business briefing when the Business family is available.
If it is pending, wait and refresh. Its cache key includes project, date range, agent scope, coverage fingerprint, locale, and template version.Verify before assigning workRead the briefing with its coverage, then open supporting conversation IDs for each proposed action.
Treat the result as a review queue, not an autonomous plan.
Synthetic example: a briefing may say Review repeated procurement-timeline questions. Treat that as a queue to inspect the cited conversations and current procurement guidance, not a directive to change pricing or reach out to visitors.
Unavailable and insufficient results
A 403/locked family indicates the plan does not include that family. Other families may still load. The briefing can be pending, succeeded, failed, or insufficient_data; the latter means Chat4U needs more analyzed conversations before offering a reliable briefing. Regular panels remain separate and may be available.
The briefing may consume the project’s configured Operator-unit capacity when generation is accepted. Reopening an unchanged cached briefing does not imply a fresh insight calculation; change the scope or wait for new analyzed data when you need a new perspective.
Limitations
- Briefing statements are generated from sanitized structured analysis and bounded samples, not a replacement for reviewing evidence.
- It does not automatically contact anyone, update content, create a ticket, or make consequential decisions.
- Family availability and quotas can change with the active plan; use the dashboard’s current state rather than documentation to confirm entitlement.
