Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: July 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") forms part of the Chat4U Agreement between Pirsum-Mi Ltd, operating as Chat4U, and Customer. It applies to all access to and use of the Service, including the dashboard, APIs, embedded widget, public demos, scraping and indexing features, retrieval features, AI features, and Pro Agent tools.

1. Core Rule

You may use Chat4U only for lawful, authorized, and responsible purposes.

You are responsible for your Workspaces, users, projects, prompts, data sources, integrations, websites, visitor interactions, outputs, and downstream decisions.

You must not use the Service in a way that harms:

  • visitors;
  • end users;
  • third parties;
  • websites you are not authorized to use;
  • Chat4U;
  • Chat4U's providers; or
  • the security, reliability, or integrity of the Service.

2. No Unauthorized Use

You must not use Chat4U to:

  • access or process content you are not authorized to access or process;
  • violate contracts, confidentiality duties, or site terms;
  • infringe copyrights, database rights, trademark rights, privacy rights, publicity rights, trade secrets, or other third-party rights;
  • bypass security controls, paywalls, access restrictions, rate limits, or authorization requirements;
  • misuse credentials, tokens, sessions, cookies, or identity systems;
  • probe, scan, test, exploit, or attempt to discover vulnerabilities without written authorization; or
  • interfere with or degrade the Service or another system.

3. Prohibited Content and Conduct

You must not use Chat4U to create, submit, process, promote, facilitate, or distribute:

  • unlawful content or activity;
  • malware, ransomware, spyware, phishing kits, credential theft tools, botnets, or exploit payloads;
  • fraud, scams, deception, impersonation, or misleading commercial practices;
  • harassment, abuse, threats, hateful conduct, extremist promotion, or exploitation;
  • unlawful surveillance or unlawful profiling;
  • spam or abusive automation;
  • content that encourages self-harm, violence, or illegal conduct;
  • material that violates child safety laws; or
  • material intended to disrupt, overwhelm, or attack a website, service, or person.

4. Data Sources, Scraping, and Uploads

You may submit URLs, websites, files, text, or other sources only if you own, control, or are otherwise authorized to direct Chat4U to access, copy, store, transform, index, retrieve, and use them for your project.

You are responsible for:

  • ownership and authorization;
  • privacy and disclosure obligations;
  • copyrights and database rights;
  • confidentiality duties;
  • site terms and automated access restrictions;
  • sanctions and territorial restrictions;
  • complaint handling; and
  • takedown handling.

Chat4U uses an attestation-based scraping model. Your authority attestation is the basis on which Chat4U may perform a requested scrape.

At launch, Chat4U does not technically enforce robots.txt, and domain verification is not technically required by default. This does not authorize you to scrape or upload content you are not permitted to use.

You must not use the Service to scrape, upload, or index content for which you lack rights or authority.

5. AI Use and End-User Interactions

You must not:

  • represent Output as guaranteed accurate;
  • falsely present AI content as human-generated when disclosure is legally required;
  • hide material limits of AI behavior where law requires disclosure;
  • use Output as a substitute for required professional review;
  • rely on Output where a reasonable review process is necessary for safety, legality, or fairness; or
  • use the Service to generate deceptive, fabricated, or misleading content for unlawful or harmful purposes.

If you deploy Chat4U to interact with visitors or end users, you are responsible for ensuring that your deployment is appropriate for its context.

6. High-Risk Use Prohibition

For purposes of this AUP, "High-Risk Use" means providing professional medical, legal, or financial advice, or making or materially informing decisions about employment, housing, credit, insurance, education access, benefits eligibility, essential services, biometric identification or verification, safety-critical matters, government functions, defense activities, or similar high-impact outcomes.

High-Risk Use is prohibited unless a separately signed Enterprise agreement expressly authorizes the exact use.

Ordinary FAQ, support, and navigation assistance are permitted only when they do not provide such advice and do not make or materially inform such decisions.

Without an applicable separately signed Enterprise agreement expressly covering the exact use, you must not use Chat4U for:

  • clinical advice, diagnosis, treatment recommendations, or triage;
  • legal advice or legal strategy for a person's rights or obligations;
  • financial, lending, investment, tax, or insurance advice;
  • employment screening, ranking, hiring, firing, promotion, or discipline decisions;
  • tenant screening, housing eligibility, eviction, or rental decisions;
  • lending, creditworthiness, underwriting, or pricing decisions;
  • insurance eligibility, underwriting, pricing, or claims decisions;
  • school admissions, educational access, testing determinations, or student discipline decisions;
  • benefits eligibility decisions;
  • access decisions for essential services;
  • biometric identification, biometric verification, or biometric profiling;
  • safety-critical operational control;
  • government decision-making or defense-related activity; or
  • similar high-impact decision support.

You must not assume that a general contract, internal review, human oversight, or product configuration authorizes High-Risk Use.

A request to support@chat4u.ai asking whether an Enterprise exception program is available does not authorize the use and does not guarantee review or approval.

PHI is prohibited unless Chat4U actually offers and signs a separate written BAA covering the exact use. This AUP does not state that Chat4U currently offers a BAA.

7. Pro Agent Rules

Pro Agent features may request browser actions or read browser content. You must use them only in a lawful, authorized, and transparent way.

You must not use Pro Agent to:

  • access areas you are not authorized to access;
  • bypass or defeat site security, session controls, or technical restrictions;
  • perform deceptive or hidden browser actions;
  • make purchases, submit payments, or accept terms on behalf of a person without clear authority and lawful process;
  • interact with regulated or high-risk workflows in violation of this AUP; or
  • collect, request, store, process, reveal, submit, or exfiltrate sensitive secrets.

The following prohibition is absolute:

You must not use Pro Agent to collect, request, store, process, reveal, submit, or exfiltrate passwords, passcodes, one-time authentication codes, multi-factor authentication secrets, payment-card numbers, card verification values, bank credentials, or similarly sensitive secrets.

No consent flow, internal policy, or customer workflow creates an exception to that rule.

8. Privacy and Sensitive Data

You must not use Chat4U to process data in a way that violates applicable privacy or data protection law.

Unless a separately signed Enterprise agreement expressly covers the exact use, you must not use the Service for:

  • PHI;
  • payment-card processing;
  • children's data requiring special handling;
  • sensitive government identifiers;
  • authentication secrets;
  • regulated financial account credentials; or
  • other data categories requiring additional contractual or regulatory controls not in place.

You remain responsible for all notices, consents, lawful bases, retention policies, and data-subject obligations required for your use.

9. Platform Integrity

You must not:

  • overload, flood, or degrade the Service;
  • interfere with queues, rate limits, billing limits, or storage controls;
  • abuse free tiers or promotions;
  • create fake accounts or deceptive Workspaces;
  • tamper with logs, audit trails, or attribution records;
  • attempt to extract model weights, hidden prompts, or provider credentials;
  • use the Service to build malicious benchmarks, prompt attacks, or adversarial extraction systems; or
  • engage in conduct that materially increases operational, legal, or security risk for Chat4U or others.

10. Enforcement

Chat4U may investigate suspected violations of this AUP.

Chat4U may, with or without prior notice depending on urgency, do any of the following:

  • warn Customer;
  • require corrective action;
  • suspend features, projects, agents, or Workspaces;
  • disable scraping or Pro Agent features;
  • remove or block content or data sources;
  • restrict account access;
  • preserve evidence;
  • respond to complaints or legal process; and
  • terminate access.

Chat4U may act immediately where reasonably necessary for urgent security, legal, abuse, provider, or safety reasons.

11. Reporting

To report abuse, unauthorized scraping, unsafe behavior, or suspected violations of this AUP, contact support@chat4u.ai.
