What you’ll accomplish

Create a safe first assistant with approved knowledge, then validate it before anyone sees it.

Finish with
A tested assistant and the exact install code
  1. Create the projectName it, add its real primary website, and confirm authority.

Enter a bare domain such as your-company.example, not a page URL. Confirm you control or are authorized to use it. If an agreement is required, a workspace owner or administrator must accept it.

  2. Add trusted knowledgeStart with sources you would confidently give to a customer.

Choose Add what your agent should know and import a website, files, or text. You can keep moving while it processes, but coverage is limited until a source is Ready.

  3. Configure the visitor experienceGive the assistant one clear job and a recognizable voice.

In Choose how your agent should help, select an available persona and response-quality option; add a visitor-facing name, welcome message, instructions, display mode, and colors. Review and save.

  4. Test, then prepare installationTry real questions before copying code.

Use onboarding test chat with normal customer questions and one question the knowledge should not answer. Improve the source or instructions, then test again. Set the domains where the widget may run and copy Install code; you can email that exact snippet to a developer.

Ready to hand off
  • Primary website is confirmed
  • At least one trusted knowledge import has started
  • Assistant is saved and tested
  • Install code is ready for an authorized domain
