Tell the difference between a public offer, your project contract, and the final Paddle total.

Where to do this in Chat4U
  1. Project
  2. Billing

Use the public pricing page for offers, project Billing for the current contract, and Paddle checkout or invoice for the final transaction total and tax treatment.

The pricing page shows the current public offer. Project Billing shows your project's actual contract and scheduled changes. Paddle Checkout or a Paddle preview shows the final transaction total, currency, and applicable tax treatment.

Use the right value
  • Use the pricing page to compare current offers.
  • Use project Billing to review the subscription you already have.
  • Use Paddle's displayed checkout total and invoice for the transaction amount and tax.

Monthly and annual billing are separate contract cadences, not a calculation you need to make. A price change normally affects new purchases; an existing subscription keeps its current price until it changes plan, cadence, recurring capacity, or resubscribes.

Paddle calculates, collects, and remits transaction taxes as online reseller and Merchant of Record. Your organization remains responsible for its own business or use taxes. Paddle's checkout and invoice are authoritative for the transaction.
