CHAT4U LEGAL
Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 22, 2026
This notice supplements and incorporates the August 2026 Privacy Policy. That policy continues to apply except where this supplement provides more specific information about project billing through Paddle or Shopify.
Chat4U is operated by Pirsum-Mi Ltd, operating as Chat4U, company number 514452028, of 4 Jasmin Street, Or Akiva. Chat4U acts as processor for customer-controlled conversation content and as controller for platform, billing, security, and operational data.
The incorporated policy continues to govern lead capture, website and product usage measurement, and conversation analytics and inferences. Those analytics are probabilistic inferences for authorized human review and are not used for solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. Chat4U uses OpenAI's Responses API and Batch API for enabled AI processing. Batch input files expire within seven days if ordinary cleanup is interrupted, subject to the provider safeguards described in the incorporated policy.
Chat4U controls account, workspace, project, entitlement, legal acceptance, support, security and operational billing records needed to provide the service. For Paddle-billed orders, Paddle remains an independent controller for its Merchant-of-Record activities under Paddle's privacy notice. The existing Paddle billing disclosures continue to apply to those orders.
For Paddle-billed orders, the billing exchange includes billing email, checkout billing and locale facts, subscription and transaction status, and opaque Chat4U/Paddle identifiers for the correct workspace and project. Opaque metadata must not contain readable workspace or project names.
For Shopify-billed projects, Shopify processes its merchant account, approval, payment, invoice and related financial data under its applicable privacy terms. Chat4U sends or receives the identifiers and charge facts necessary to correlate the authorized app, shop and project: opaque purchase references, selected services, amounts, currency, cadence, approval/status and return-link information. Chat4U also retains canonical provider evidence and financial report references needed to prevent duplicate charges, reconcile entitlements and handle adjustments.
Billing integration does not require sending conversations, knowledge documents, assistant prompts or marketing profiles to Paddle or Shopify. Store synchronization and assistant processing are separate product flows governed by the existing Privacy Policy and DPA. Full payment-card details are handled in provider-controlled payment flows and are not supplied to Chat4U.
Purposes and Legal Bases
Chat4U processes billing data to perform the customer contract, maintain accurate entitlements, prevent duplicate or unauthorized transactions, comply with accounting and legal obligations, secure the Service, resolve product-access issues, and establish or defend legal claims. Where applicable, these purposes rely on contract necessity, legal obligation, and Chat4U's legitimate interests in operating and protecting the Service.
Billing and legal evidence is retained for the applicable accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, contractual and legal-claims obligations. Product data follows its published retention schedule. Direct requests concerning Chat4U-controlled records through the existing privacy-rights process; requests concerning provider payment data use the relevant provider's privacy process.
All other controller and processor allocations, legal bases, security measures, international-transfer safeguards, rights and contact details in the incorporated Privacy Policy continue to apply.
