Privacy Policy

This document supplements and incorporates the previous privacy policy. Existing provisions continue to apply except where this supplement provides more specific information about enabled WooCommerce assistance.

WordPress and WooCommerce assistance

When a customer enables store assistance, Chat4U can receive public product knowledge, minimized current cart and price context, action and recovery receipts, and limited order results authorized for the current shopper. The customer determines the merchant processing purposes; Chat4U processes those customer-directed copies under the DPA. Chat4U separately controls necessary service-security, account, billing and legal records as described in the incorporated policy.

Order email, order number and code entered into the dedicated verification form go directly to the store. The store's configured mail provider sends verification messages. Chat4U uses a short-lived opaque proof for a signed-in customer or one verified guest order. Minimized private order results may enter the configured AI processor for the current answer. The private answer is not retained as a durable chat transcript; a neutral verification message is retained instead. This does not remove content a visitor independently types into ordinary chat.

Optional purchase measurement requires the merchant's enabled setting, a supported consent setup, and the visitor's explicit Allow. An opaque correlation may be copied from the native cart to private order metadata. Qualified native payment and refund evidence can update associated totals. A checkout link, cart change or unpaid order is not a paid purchase. Attribution describes association, not proven causal uplift. Withdrawal removes attributed evidence and blocks older references from regaining authority after a later Allow.

The merchant's hosting and mail services are separate from Chat4U's configured processors. Contact the merchant for the underlying store order and customer account. Chat4U assists with its copies through the privacy process described below.
