Regulated and High-Impact Use Guidance
Last updated: November 4, 2026
1. Purpose
This guidance explains the Acceptable Use Policy. It is informational and does not grant an exception, regulatory approval or certification. The actual task, audience, information and consequences matter more than an industry's label.
2. Ordinary assistance and restricted decisions
| Ordinary assistance, within the other rules | Restricted specialist or high-impact use |
|---|---|
| Clinic opening hours, directions and published service descriptions | Diagnosis, clinical triage or treatment recommendations. |
| Municipal office information, links and published form navigation | Deciding benefit eligibility, exercising government decision-making or emergency dispatch. |
| School schedules, general information and legitimate tutoring | Admissions or discipline decisions, prohibited student profiling or academic cheating. |
| Factual product descriptions and ordinary customer support for a financial business | Individualized financial, investment, tax, lending or insurance advice or eligibility/underwriting decisions. |
| Product discovery and supported verified order status | Unverified private-account access, payment execution or guarantees about fulfilment. |
| Neutral public or historical information | Political campaigning/lobbying, actionable weapons assistance, real-money gambling or pornographic/sexual-chat services. |
Employment, housing, credit, insurance, educational access, essential-service, biometric, safety-critical and similar high-impact decisions are also restricted under the AUP. Ordinary use within a sector is not a blanket authorization for every workflow in that sector.
3. Specialist processing and children
The standard self-service offering does not support child-directed assistants or intentionally sensitive/regulated-data workflows requiring additional controls not agreed for that use. An adult purchaser or general disclaimer does not remove duties to actual visitors, including children. Unexpected sensitive information still needs proportionate protection and handling.
The Service is not an emergency service or a qualified professional adviser. Human review can be important but does not by itself authorize a prohibited use.
4. Any exception must be specific
A support enquiry, general Order, higher plan, customer attestation or configuration toggle is not approval. A potentially supportable specialist use requires a separately signed agreement identifying its exact use, data, providers, safeguards and responsibilities before deployment. Chat4U may decline and does not promise an available exception programme, certification or healthcare business associate agreement.
No exception can override applicable law, provider restrictions, the AUP's specifically excluded offerings or the absolute prohibition on browser-tool access to authentication/payment secrets. A specialist agreement does not mean the system is suitable for unrelated regulated purposes.
5. Responsibilities and contact
Customers assess their own deployment, notices, permitted purpose and required professional oversight. Chat4U remains responsible for its own conduct and obligations. This guidance does not transfer all responsibility to the customer or certify compliance in every jurisdiction.
Describe a proposed use to support@chat4u.ai before deploying a restricted workflow. Do not send sensitive examples unnecessarily. A request does not grant temporary permission while it is considered.
